How to Shoot World-Class Drone Panos
Today’s show is about producing drone panos. What are some recommended software, workflow and productivity tips for producing the best possible panoramas?
Our caller for today, Aaron is a regular ADU listener, and is looking for some tips and tricks to produce world-class drone panos. Specifically, what is the best shooting and editing workflow? Can you get better panos by shooting in manual mode as against auto mode? And, which is the best software to edit a drone pano?
To answer Aaron’s question, we first share Vic’s shooting and editing workflow. Vic prefer to shoot single images in 5-shot bracketing, manually change camera settings, and then stitch all the images together. Whereas, Paul has a more compressed workflow which takes him just under 30 minutes to make a single pano! Tune in for some excellent insights. Thanks for the great question, Aaron! Fly Safe!
