3 Simple Ways to Attract More Clients

Being a drone entrepreneur means consistently working to attract new business.  Of course, staying ahead of the curve, in this aspect, is a necessity for companies in every field. In the drone industry, where rapid growth and heavy competition are the name of the game, it’s essential to build a steady flow of new customers.

Here are three effective strategies for finding new clients:

Attend Networking Events

One way to get in front of potential clients and promote your services is to partner with a networking organization. The National Association of Realtors, for example, has many affiliate associations that form locally throughout the United States.

These local chapters host several events throughout the year, ranging from mixers to formal presentations. Getting in touch with the right person can yield an opportunity to network with such a group.

If real estate isn’t the end goal for the type of client you’re looking for, try any professional association associated with your desired niche, such as law enforcement agencies, farmers or event planners.

Provide Free Samples of Your Work

Here’s where you can get a little creative. If you’re on location for a job, why not film or photograph another property that’s for sale? As long as you’re in a public space, then your photographs can be sent to the seller as a showcase of what you can potentially do to enhance their product.

These small samples can lead to clients asking what more you can do for them in a paid capacity. At the very least, it can earn you face time with the right person. It could lead to repeat business down the road.

Social Media Campaigns

Social media campaigns can be an effective way to promote any business. For a drone pilot, the ability to embed media into such posts is a guarantee that your work will get in front of the right people.

Facebook’s boosted posts, for example, give users the ability to target audiences by region, interests and age, among others elements. A pay-as-you-go model provides a budget-friendly method to boost your conversions while perfecting your method of outreach for future marketing efforts.
